As of 2011, Bath Fitter offers many product lines, including acrylic bathtub liners and tub surrounds, shower bases and walls, shower liners, and tub and shower doors. It also offers free consultations. A Bath Fitter estimator or representative will visit your home and work with you to come up with a plan and price for your bathroom remodel.

Bath Fitter can make the necessary plumbing adjustments to put in new fixtures and change tubs into showers. Since the company uses the existing tub and shower plumbing, it does not do major plumbing work, such as adding a hot water line or a drain. However, Bath Fitter does work with plumbing subcontractors to make sure that your job gets done the way you want. Its estimate will include the subcontracting work, or you can hire your own plumber.

Before installing a new tub or shower, Bath Fitter cleans, seals and waterproofs the old tub, shower, tile and wall area. This prevents mold from growing underneath your new product. Also, according to Bath Fitter, its acrylic products do not show scratches and are easy to clean.
